For those we serve, the PATHway TO emPOWERment is best achieved through meaningful employment. During 2007 Banquet Bouquets was developed as an employment enterprise for people with disabilities. Major support for this new venture was received from the Regional Center of Orange County when they ordered custom flower arrangements for their Spotlight Awards Banquet held on October 5Th. Over eighty black and silver floral pieces were specially created for this event. It was a proud moment for the many clients who had diligently worked on this project when the finished arrangements were placed in boxes for transport to the hotel. Special thanks to Jacqui Kerze and her staff at RCOC for making it all happen. We are confident other community minded organizations, businesses and service clubs will make this a successful job creating effort for the clients of our agency.
Banquet Bouquets is managed and operated by
OCARC was established in 1955 by parents who wanted to provide enhanced opportunities for their adult children with developmental disabilities. OCARC has grown to serve over 700 adults in year round programs designed to enrich the lives of the individuals served and enable them to achieve their full potential.
